South Carolina is ranked #7 in the nation for the number of deaths which involve men killing women

There were 37 known deaths due to domestic violence in 2010

South Carolina had 4,382 women and children living in domestic violence shelters

South Carolina had 28,507 clients who didn't stay in the shelters

85% of women with disabilities
are victims of domestic abuse

OUR MISSION
To provide household furnishings to domestic violence victims and their children. To give out information on other helpful services.
To promote abuse-free relationships.
Domestic Violence Assistance has been
in operation for 4 years and has been able to help 137 victims and their 247 children all through donations.
Our Director was one of Talk Greenville Magazine's
"25 Most Beautiful Women"
in their October 2008 issue.
How can I help?

     You can help by donating items. We can pick up any furniture you have to donate that is in good condition when we are in need. You can make a monetary donation by mailing a tax deductible in-kind donation.
